First, you must follow the postoperative care instructions we provide very carefully, and in general you should take good care of your skin. Sunscreen creams and skin moisturizers are very influential.

Second is good and proper nutrition—multivitamins and good supplements, and in general a proper and of course comprehensive diet.

Third is exercise, because it causes elastin production in your skin, and not having stress.

Fourth is that smoking, hookah, and alcohol should not be consumed.

And the last point—which is actually more important than all of them—is that you should have chosen a very good and appropriate surgical technique for yourself, and a good surgeon who has good expertise and experience in this field.

The most important message

Strict aftercare directly improves scar quality and final outcomes.

Questions patients commonly ask

Typically 10–14 days of relative rest; strenuous activity resumes gradually after medical clearance.
